We are expanding our present development team and we are looking for developers to provide web interfaces to our programs. Our flagship product is the restaurant cash register system called Septim.

Most of the development takes place in PHP. We use the client server database Sybase SQL Anywhere Studio (ASA) or MySQL for saving data. We communicate with the ASA database using saved procedures or by view. We use Apache on Linux (Debian) as our web server. We are trying to introduce our basic principles from the development of applications in SQL and Delphi into the work of the web developer:

• extreme programming
• teamwork, the project does not depend on a single person
• test-driven development
• generating documentation from the source code
• using bug monitoring tools (bugzilla)
• application of the rule “developers are not support staff”

• perfect knowledge of a web programming language
• good knowledge of php
• knowledge of perl
• good knowledge of SQL
• experience with XML and XSLT
• Linux

• experience with Sybase (ASA)
• scripting in shell (bash)
• knowledge of the Debian distribution
