Today, customer records including various settings of their accounts are a must-have for any modern restaurant. The system records a wide range of important data about the customers, which can then be used for formulating a marketing strategy of the restaurant. If the customers receive identification cards connected, e.g., to a given discount, Septim allows monitoring their consumption and processing the acquired information. The customer records contain the balance of a customer's „account“ as well. This allows customers to deposit money on their accounts and to use it for later payments. The customer cards may also find use for recording and monitoring employee consumption.
Each customer can be assigned a price category, discounts, credit, customer group, customer validity, e-mail, telephone and other attributes. The option of keeping customer photos provides interesting possibilities as well.
