All raw materials and goods handled in the stores must be defined as store items. When working with store items, the value of the so-called waste coefficient is often used, which presents the difference between raw and net weight - for example, when peeling potatoes. Depending on the cofiguration of the system, it is possible to update the store price automatically upon entering an item of a delivery note. Store items can be separated into three independent groups for further analysis. Septim allows distinguishing between main and auxiliary store items. This differentiation solves the issues of recalculating stored goods in multiple different packages (e.g., Becherovka 0.7l, Becherovka 0.5l, etc.).

Records of the, so-called, minimum and critical amounts of individual items in a specific store are a very useful function too. The minimum and critical amounts are used for “getting goods” to centers. As the stores are unloaded at the moment of billing, this is in place not only as a continual monitoring mechanism, but selling a given recipe can be blocked as well, if its ingredients are not present in the store.

The list of all store items can be sorted and filtered according to predefined parameters.
